Obama, oil rig explosions, greenpeace and Islamic energy dependence
It was just a few weeks back that the President of the United States a Liberal Democrat did the unexpected: he freed up oil companies to once again drill offshore. Certainly taking Republicans and the oil companies by surprise this welcoming news had made many wonder what the President was up to. Was the nation to finally become less dependent on radical Islamic states around the world for oil? Granted the President didn’t allow as much drilling as the oil companies would like, but still 
this was a good sign for the American people and their abilities to develop their energy dependence.
BOOM! an explosion just weeks after the Presidents new promise of new energy opportunities. The The Deepwater Horizon and its crew of 126 scramble in black smoke to escape the violent explosion. Of the full complement 11 are not found as the offshore oil rig sinks into the depths of the Gulf of Mexico.
Unfortunately and very curiously President Obama’s promise of new energy opportunities now comes to a resounding end as one of President Obama’s advisers David Axelrod said that the President had ordered that “no additional drilling has been authorized and none will until we find out what has happened here“.
Just when America thought it was heading down the road of energy independence they find themselves once again at he mercy of those Barack Obama bows too. Now I would never go as far to say that our Liberal, Socialist loving, Islamic beholding President would ever detonated an explosive on the The Deepwater Horizon. Yet, at the same time, I would never exclude the possibility.
I can only wonder how Greenpeace took Obama’s new policy on additional off shore drilling. Could they have played a part in such an incident? They certainly, in the past, have not kept a distance from violent confrontation have they? How easy it would have been for a crew member to have sabotaged the rig?
As far as conspiracy theories go whose to say these couldn’t have happened? Even one of the crew members said he heard a blast three hours before any flames. As of today, America is back in the position most liberals want to keep her: dependent on Islamic nations for life.
For Obama to suspend all additional drilling after promising to allow it would make anyone but the most hardened environmentalist question his agenda.
How many offshore rig explosions are there in the United States anyway that Obama needs to halt all additional drilling? If Obama truly does care about life and the environment why did he not stop all coal mining in the nation after the recent death of 29 miners in the Upper Big Branch disaster in W. Virginia? Why does it never make sense when liberals make decisions? I suppose the President thinks that all rigs are run by the same people; therefore, tomorrow another explosion could occur: just a thought.
Such a poor decision made by the commander and chief will again delay the United States from getting closer to full energy independence. The question people need to be asking is how can we as Americana’s make 2012 any closer.

It will shortly be published that, as is always usual when renting any rig, the renter holds Transocean completely harmless from all liability, including all cleanup for a spill or envronmental disaster. BP or its insurers may even owe the Transocean insurers money for the rig itself. BP has when renting this rig, assumed all liability

How outrageous to even consider Greenpeace would sabotage an oil platform and create an environmental disaster. Confrontational does not mean violent! Greenpeace has a history of 4o years of Non violent direct action it has never phisically hurt nor destroyed anything. Shame on you for suggesting a plot!
