Generally all nations have their military forces, as needed for their common defense: including all Muslim nations.
This is well known by the west; however, few have ever attempted to take into account the number of radical Muslims, as a military force, directly associated with a world Islamic movement or government.
This is likely because Islam has historically been seen as a religion and not a governmental system.
Yet, that may be changing. With Iran’s Ayatollah’s now calling for the Islamic world to gather for the coming of their awaited al-Mahdi al-Montazar, this consideration, of a world Islamic confederation, takes on new meaning.
In a Gallup poll it was found that of the 1.3 billion Muslims in the world 7% were radical. This means that 91 million radical Islamists are ideologically prepared to convert, subjugate or kill those in the way of this new alliance.
Taking that number into context, lets say for an American, where .08% of the population serve militarily which translates into a military force standing at or around 2.4 million personal; this may be cause for concern.
Granted, this does not include militaries from other western nations or even former military civilians, nor would all of the radical 7% fight in a conflict: voluntarily.
Regardless, it is a sobering thought especially when so much of the media downplays the threat of radical Islam and western nations inadequately prepare their citizens for such a potential threat.
It also gives one pause, when world leaders begin suggesting that terrorist cells may be at work in their neighborhood when instead their likely battalions.
So, what is Islam, an ideology, world government or a religion?
Is it possible that the world has classified this system incorrectly, as a religion and instead it is a both a religion and world governmental system all in one?
Is it possible that the true fighting force of these nations are not merely their uniformed service personal, but all those who pursue the goals of radical Islam?
Why are governments bowing to the Islamic communities insistence of allowing Sharia law? In looking into this one may find a shocking revelation.
After 9-11 where were those moderate Muslims: there were few to cry out against Islamic terror.
Does this mean that Islam protects Islam, regardless of the act, or are fear of reprisals the reason few Muslims came out against the 9-11 attacks?
In the last few years more Muslims have come out against the attack, but what was the delay?
There are obviously more questions than I have answers for, but one thing I have learned is that there something to be said for gut feelings.

This blog post, while conveying some good information, is unduly alarmist. It would be helpful if a better understanding of Islam was realized before attempting such a posting. The graphic depicting a Muslim warrior with a bloody sword reduces your credibility to mere propaganda.
The 7% figure, by all credible polls, is high. While precision isn’t possible, that figure is closer to 4%. Of that number, the actual number of those that are or would be violently fanatical is considered to be, by reasonable intel reports, very, very small. Still, this is an issue for our intel and law enforcement agencies to take very seriously, along with our counter terrorism & counterinsurgency military strategists, who have and are doing so.
Those of us in America and “The West” that work in “Christian-Muslim Relations” and as diplomatic professionals to make a better world have many, many Muslims who are working with us to achieve peace and stability. Such Islamophobic posts as yours’ do more harm than good, and just play into the hands of the very few actual Muslim fanatics that are violent.
I don’t think you understand – the graphic depiction was designed by Islamists, Kimber LOL. I hope it is alarmist! Ok, so lets bargain down the 7% sure ok 3.5% – that means that only 40 million potential terrorists want you converted or dead, and don’t forget those 40 million all share the same ideology that if your murdered in the name of Islam that this is fine with them. Oh, I have read and re-read much of the Quran and Hadith, and I know about its hate for the Son of God and for his followers. I also speak with many ex-Muslims about their lives prior to becoming Christian and they all say how oppressive and hateful Islam truly is. I have too work in in missions field with the Muslims in Europe (Operation Mobilization) and that has nothing to do with the truth of what is going on in the world. Their is an open Islamization of the West and it has one purpose to convert the world to Islam. Yes, the majority of Muslims do not go out and kill people, but few condemn the act. My article stands firm: Have a great week.
