For three years conservative Christians across the United States have been on their knees to God; in the streets before the nation and writing article after article hoping for a good Christian conservative candidate without significant baggage.
Finally, after a devastating 3 years under President Obams rule we have that candidate in Rick Santorum.
With his poll numbers continually gaining Santorum seems to be the Christian conservative candidate primed to take the GOP nomination. He has taken a wide lead over Michele Bachmann and Governor Rick Perry yet both candidates percist in their effort to win the GOP nomination knowing full well of the detriment this has upon the chances of a Christian conservative gaining the GOP nomination.
I understand that it is a contest, yet it is much more than a contest for presidency, it is the life of the nation, as we know it.
It makes no sense for conservative Christians to split their vote. We have a true opportunity to have some real change in the White House yet Governor Perry continues to bash Rick Santorum which only really helps Governor Mitt Romney.
It makes me often wonder if Governor Perry is actually on Governor Romney’s campaign payroll. Yes, here I go speaking the unspeakable: is there a wolf in the GOP mix?
Most conservatives likely know, by now, that Governor Perry will never get the nomination not because of his record, but rather because he is a poor speaker and truly has a hard time putting his thoughts together under pressure.
He has done some great work, as the Texas Governor, but that is likely as far as he will get. Yet, he now has been given an opportunity to choose the next GOP nominee: this choice will certainly sheed light on what kind of Christian conservative he is.
Perry polls well enough to tip the balance in the GOP presidential decision. I and every conservative Christian in America can only hope and pray that he has not been bought by some powerfull insider within the GOP who may be trying hard to force the American conservative into accepting Governor Mitt Romney as the nominee.
Having Governor Mitt Romney win the GOP nomination would be unspeakable because the vast majority of conservatives don’t like or want Mr. Romney anywhere near the White House.
I for the life of me cant’t understand why Christian conservatives just can’t work together.
We have a candidate who is polling well: it is time to support this candidate. With every split vote we make Mitt Romney’s path that much easier.
Let there be no doubt, Governor Mitt Romney is no Christian conservative. Granted if elected he may be able to help with our economic condition; however, our national health will continue to suffer morally. Let’s face it, Governor Mitt Romney is infected by the Progressive sickness that has already taken most Democrats.
I offten just sit back in my chair and wonder how long it will take the American people to realize that it is not the ecnomy dummy, but the moral position this nation has been suckkered into. We have brought this all upon ourselves. We have permitted men and women into our local and national government without firm challanges: we have focused on living the good life while plugging our noses to the political rot growing around us. There is nobody to blame but us.
Governor Perry is my Governor, as I am a Texan, but other than his recent commercial claiming to be a Christian his conservative political history has been full of holes. From forcing medicine on children to not standing firm on the border: he is weak on protecting personal freedoms and defending national sovereignty. Certainly, he has done many things right as has Governor Romney, but we don’t need a 13 hour conservative we one who is conservative for 24 hours a day.
The truth of the matter is that most of us really worry about Governor Perry’s loyalty to the conservative idea his potential conflicts of interest with left leaning conservatives who have authority in the GOP give reason for alarm.
The truth, as is usually the case, is simple: conservative Christians are splitting their vote three ways. This is permitting Governor Mitt Romney to grin in glee while rubbing his hands in anticipation of a presidential nomination that seems so certain because the ignorant conservative Christians can’t seem to get their house in order.
Rick Santorum is a Christian conservative; he is a wonderful family man; he is rising fast in the polls; and he is the answer to your prayers: give the man a chance.
A word of warning if you stick with supporting Bachmann or Perry to the end and Romney or Obama become or remain president: it is your fault.
They say God has the whole world in His hands – well he just gave America to the Christian conservative: I hope they know what to do with it.

Santorum is the punchline to some joke on us. Get serious. This whole thing is a sham.
