Obama Scolds use of Computer Gadgets

The bold face truth reversals coming from the Teleprompter become more twisted each time its puppet speaks. This weekend at Hampton University, Virginia, the Teleprompter, acting as ventriloquist, used the Presidential puppet to lament that other electronic gadgets such as IPADs and X-Boxes are causing too many distractions.

The puppet told his audience that such distractions, arguments, and words floating around in the blogosphere are creating problems for Democracy. Ironically, for the first time since his seizure of power, the Man-Boy in Chief has made a true statement.

During the 2008 United States Presidential Campaign, if it were not for the twenty four hour per day, seven day per week continuous electronic bombardment of Barack Obama sound bytes, then our Democracy might not be on its current eve of destruction. The very tools which the Teleprompter is now having its puppet criticize, are the exact tools which We the People are now using en masse against the Teleprompter’s suicidal policies. The Teleprompter is now angry and jealous. If it’s not careful, it could wind up blowing a cathode-ray tube.

The puppet, forced to fly solo could be a dangerous thing, or a blessing in disguise. Forced to speak and therefore think in real human language, the puppet may end up coming down to Earth where he could enjoy an epiphany or two.

Chris Matthews may still have a, “tingle running up his leg,” however it is becoming increasingly clear that the rest of America, especially the Independent voters who came out in droves for Obama, have lost that, “loving feeling.” The latest Rasmussen Daily Presidential Tracking Poll shows that only twenty nine percent of American voters now, “Strongly Approve,” of Obama’s job performance. Forty one percent, “Strongly Disapprove,” putting him at a negative twelve overall approval rating.

There must be an air of desperation in the halls of the White House these days. It is quite an odd move for a President of the United States to address new college graduates with a chastisement of electronic devices which are the fruits of Western technological progress. According to the Teleprompter, the solution to all of these problems presented by the distractions of IPADs and X-Boxes is, “education.”

Of course, “education,” in the truth reversal narrative of the Teleprompter, actually means, “re-education.” Today’s lazy college graduates unable to find meaningful work should head for the coffee houses to cram for their Carl Marx final. All Americans may soon be forced to take it if they want to remain as citizens.

One Response to Obama Scolds use of Computer Gadgets

  1. “…the Man-Boy in Chief has made a true statement.”

How does this baseless name-calling help to contribute to a sensible, common-sense dialog? How does it help the public discourse to use these childish attacks as opposed to factual information? If you have something valuable to say, why not say it in a straight-forward, “adult” manner?

And as for the conservative attacks on Obama for using a teleprompter, this, too, is baseless; every modern president has used a teleprompter (this includes Reagan and both Bushes). Would he somehow be more “American” or better at his job if he read from a piece of paper? Why does it make a difference. You yourself call electronic devices “the fruits of Western technological progress [sic],” and then you chastise him for using such a device. Where’s the rationale?
