Mitt Romney will insure Obama’s second term as President

Why, are we even considering Mitt Romney for President in 2012?  As conservatives we know he flip flopped on abortion.  This is not just a simple mistake or something that a man can get away with: it leaves red stains on ones hands.  Yet he persists in pursuing this life long goal of being President.

Mitt Romney Campaigns For John McCain In Nevada

Republicans namely the Republicans In Name Only (RINO’s)  have after many years began to trade their souls for elections because they feared voters would leave them behind because of the progressive nature of man.  Sadly, this was an argument designed by radical liberals to frighten and disrupt the un-wavering ideology of conservatism.  For the most part, it has work, many Republicans sold  their consciences to try and gain voters.

The final outcome has  allowed for the infiltration of anti family and anti life proponents into the ranks of the Republican Party.   Unfortunately, the truth is that conservatism if maintained, in tact, has an unusual effect of drawing people to it.

Mitt Romney most certainly had good intentions when he flipped his stance on abortion to gain an election win.  Republican Party RINO’s were proud of their newly garnered fresh wins.  Yet all that was gained was a searing of conscience and brought by a willingness by some to embrace progressive ideas as justified to gain election wins.

Little thought was given to principle nor any repercussions that may come from those who stood fast in their conservative convictions.  Mitt Romney, didn’t make a mistake he choose to embrace abortion and therefor owns the deaths of hundreds if not thousands of  Massachusetts children.

Conservatives will not stand for this retreat in their ideology, nor support a man willing to disregard his principles for a vote.  The whole idea around the Tea Party movement is loyalty to conservative principles to vote for Mitt Romney is to embrace a lie.  This being said I anticipate hundreds of thousands if not millions of conservatives not  willing to vote for Mr. Romney for President in 2012.

I don’t believed that even a guaranteed victory for Obama will have good men and women exchanging their principles just to have a Republican in office.  All in all, it would be better to allow Obama his second term as an informal notice to the GOP  elite that they need to never sell  Conservatism out again. Sure this is very much like playing chicken, but it is well necessary in order to save conservative principles.

If it is not done the Republican voter will be no better off than the masses who foolishly voted for Obama.  Choose your nations destiny or let it be
chosen for you. Recently, I was tweeting with a marketing director for a large Republican office and the topic of gay rights came up and he noted that he was for gay marriage and it reminded me of the damage already done to our Party: I wondered how far the infiltration had gone.

If America is to survive as a nation of conscience and balanced morality our leaders must be firm in their personal and public values: there is no room here for second chances:  Romney must go.

  1. The 2012 election will be the political equivalent of shooting fish in a barrel. Who are the GOP’s two most viable candidates to take on Obama next time ’round? Eric Cantor and Mitt Romney. The problem with that is the simple, undeniable fact the the religious bigots who have hijacked that party will never – EVER – nominate a Jew or a Mormon.

David Duke will become president of the NAACP before that ever happens.

Romney is by far the best choice. Abortion should be a state issue and roe vs Wade overturned.

  3. Matt, I agree it should be a state issue as well. However, it’s objection is a major plank of the Republican Party and therefore Romney had a duty to both himself, his God and his party to keep it intact: he refused and gained an election by selling his principles. This is not the actions of a President that we can count on.

  4. Well Tom – you should go and vote for the Democrats: if your not already. Your hate for Christianity is sad and you are very much un-informed about who Christians would vote for. The idea of not voting for a Mormon or a Jew is a concept that may float in and around Liberal circles, most Christians have no problem with both groups.

I have heard this said a lot. I don’t like what he did and he shouldn’t even be considered for being a President, but powerful people are behind him. What can we do? It is like no matter what way Americans turn we are forced to vote for people who are just wrong for the nation. I will likely not vote for him.

  6. Donna Wells

Romney is not a Christian, he is a Mormon. The gap between the two can never be filled. Romney is as fake as his “religion”. We need Mike H for President. He is the only one we can count on.

  7. I know what your saying Donna, but keep in mind a real Mormon generally keeps a great set of values. Although their theology is a bit different than mainstream Christianity, I don’t see electing a Mormon as a problem. As a matter of fact (With an exception for Mitt Romney) Mormons often keep their values and morality better than some mainstream Christians. This is just the truth.

  8. Laurie

Romney has come round to conservative values – including prolife. And his successful background as a businessman makes him strong for the economy.

Add to that his approach to healthcare when governor of Massachusetts is to make it a states’ rights issues(let each state decide how it wants to handle it for its citizens.

Like it or not: he appeals to independents and to disaffected Democrats and to seniors! he can put together the one coalition that CAN win this time around.

For heaven’s sake let’s not blow this one. Let’s get behind him early and strong and get this done. Andthen let him put some of the other strong conservatives in his cabinet and as his advisors.

  9. Laurie,

Romney, has not come around to anything – he knew what he was doing – he choose to promote abortion to get elected. In doing this no one can count on his word. Why because he has shown himself to not be trustworthy: this in itself makes him a RINO and dangerous.

Bashing the likes of Newt and Mitt cement a 2nd term for Obama.

Supporting Pallin, Pawlenty, Paul, or Huckabee also cement a 2nd term for Obama.

As for the religious wackos out there. Dissing a candidate because of they do not conform to your brand of Christianity is how you managed to put a Muslim pretending he’s a Christian in the Whitehouse.

So stop the insanity with stupid articles like this and focus on supporting candidates who have records of success in the private and public sectors. Otherwise, our country in doomed.

  11. Ok – here is a lesson for all Conservative Americans – Scdaddyo just made a comment above supporting know RINO’s while shooting down some Presidential candidates that would be best suited for the job. It is interesting, in that, if I were a radical liberal I would try to convince the Conservative voter to stay away from the most Conservative candidates and vote for those closer to the Progressive Ideology. — take Scdaddyo’s comment, as a example, of how the Left will try to influence that Republican Party vote – DO NOT SELL OUT YOUR VALUES

  12. scdaddyo

    Phil, wrong!

I am a traditionalist, independent, and a big fan of the tea party efforts. So note that labeling someone as left, which ironically is a leftist demonizing tactic, is wrong and accomplishes nothing.

The point you failed to appreciate is that unless we can put a proven success story to compete against Obama he will get a 2nd term.

Neither Paul, Pallin, Pawlenty, or Huckabee have a proven success record in the public and private sectors.

I hope this helps clarify the point that was being made.

As I read the comments, many were caught up in Romney’s religion. Abortion is not a religious issue: it is a soul issue. God abhors it. We should fight it not embrace it. Romney changed his mind for political reasons just the same as he was pro abortion for political reasons. If he had a heart change that would be great. He is too polarizing to gain enough momentum to win the Republican Presidential nomination. I’m praying for an unknown candidate that will cause a grassroots movement who will take us back to the Constitution.

  14. Bob

“real Mormon generally keeps a great set of values.”?

Not the case, coming from the Mormon community, the values are only talked about, the real truth is there a large and strong amount of abuse. Romney’s flips, his method of deception on his views, even the type of arrogance show are all typical characteristics of the LDS Community —

And don’t believe for a second all the goodness and light, in the Romney wards and stakes their extended family has dominated over since George, Mitt pop, there has been horrific abuse and attacks on people to cover up abuses done to people and to keep it silent.

    That sir, is the truth.

  15. Scdaddyo, I hear you, but I believe Cindy who just left her comment above put it well when she said that Romney “Is too polarizing to gain enough momentum to win”. This is correct for a number of reasons most of which I have made clear. I would encourage you to come back and watch how the comments pan out – it will tell you really how the people feel. What I hate is that if Romney is nominated, millions of good Republicans might be faced to vote for someone they are ideologically opposed to – this is not American!
