U.S. president Jimmy Carter was one of the foreign witnesses to the election in which he called fair and honest elections. It was these elections where Hamas won overwhelmingly. The truth of the matter is that Gaza is the only true democracy in the Middle East. It's even more of a pure democracy than here in America but because they don't support the US's interests they are marked as a terrorist organization. Gee, that's a surprise. Hamas is only a terrorist organization because it doesn’t support western interests.
