Times Square Bomb Attempt

Car Bomb Found In New York's Times Square

Curtailing National Defense in the middle of a war is an interesting tactic. In fact, it is one that has never been successfully attempted before. Even the most casual students of World History can recall what happened when Nero fiddled. Of course, according to the mainstream American media, we have also never been blessed with such ultra intelligent leaders as Obama and his top notch subordinate geniuses.

Homeland Security Chief, Janet Napolitano, pulled a page out of George Orwell’s 1984, and created a new euphemism for our nine year-old war against Islamic radicals. Instead of a war, we are now involved in an, “Overseas Contingency Operation.” When taking part in such a blatant euphemism, it is important to convey to the civilian masses that are being attacked, that they are not really being attacked at all. Consequently, Homeland Security has been forced to toss the phrase “terror attack,” down the memory hole as well. The new operational phrase is, “Man Created Disaster.”

Thanks to an alert Veteran, and a brave New York City Police Officer, a potential, Man Created Disaster has been averted in Times Square. The constant criticism of the previous Administration run by George W. Bush for his simple belief in, “fighting terrorism over there, so that it doesn’t come over here,” has disappeared. America’s last line of defense has become its first, and the former critics now have no comment.

The Obama Administration’s main problem presented by this near Man Created Disaster, seems to be one of public relations.

Although the Pakistani Taliban has claimed responsibility for the failed car-bomb which was placed in front of Viacom Headquarters, the Obama-controlled media has been quick to point out that there is no direct evidence of a link.

Viacom is the parent company of Comedy Central, the cable channel which recently aired South Park’s episode 200 in which Mohammed was portrayed in a bear costume, ostensibly in order to not offend any potential Islamic terrorists.

South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone have made their living by mocking America’s rampant left wing political correctness. Although they will never publicly admit to being conservative, their work speaks volumes. They have portrayed Al Gore as a paranoid self-absorbed weirdo who scares children into believing that there is a mythical creature known as “Man-Bear-Pig.” (It becomes obvious to the audience that “Man-Bear-Pig” is a symbol for Gore’s belief in Global Warming).

The two comedians have also taken shots at radical Islam in the past with their movie, “Team America: World Police.” In their movie, not only do the members of Team America fight terrorists overseas, they end up fighting Hollywood celebrities that are busy making alliances with America’s enemies. In slow motion during one of the film’s climatic scenes, Alec Baldwin ends up being killed several times over. Team America: World Police has become a “cult classic,” among our frontline grunts.

On Saturday night while President Obama was busy making racial jokes about Arizona, a terrorist placed a car bomb in our most targeted city. They are now searching for a white male in his forties. The video has just been released, and the suspect’s race and age are not as clear as the script from which mainstream media commentators seem to be reading.  We can only wait for more details.

It would not be a surprise if reports, but no clear pictures are leaked over a long time frame. We’ll probably hear that the perpetrator changed from a Rush Limbaugh t-shirt into a Glenn Beck t-shirt, and that he was wearing a Michael Savage hat.

If it does turn out that the perpetrator was an Islamic radical, you can rest assured that the report will end up on the bottom of page fifty two of the New York Times, and that it will be never mentioned again.

Although New York City Mayor Bloomberg is not a bomb expert, he has let the world know that the SUV bomb appeared to be the work of amateurs. During President George W. Bush’s two terms we only experienced one attack on American soil. Obama has only been in office for little over a year, and we have already experienced three attacks. It seems as if the only thing amateurish about this attempt is the intelligence coming from our highest office.

One Response to Times Square Bomb Attempt

  1. “Although New York City Mayor Bloomberg is not a bomb expert, he has let the world know that the SUV bomb appeared to be the work of amateurs.”

This (along with many other incisive observations in this article) is key because it is indicative of media phase II in the investigation (media phase I – denying that an actual terrorist from the actual Taliban could possibly have anything to do with a terrorist act in America). Phase II was, “Well this guy technically is America and had a bluetooth and his house was foreclosed on so maybe it was stress from the economy.” Phase III now appears to be “It was the airline’s fault.” If I had to guess, Phase IV will be “It was Bush’s fault for not eliminating every bad guy in the world” and Phase V will blame all terrorism on the stress of global warming.

Someone ought to send Obama Truman’s “the buck stops here” desk placard.
