A humorous poster floating around conservative circles depicts Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, and Barack Obama as the Three Stooges. The caption below their caricatures reads, “Staring In: Destruction of a Nation.”
This sentiment is clearly reflected in political polls which indicate that Congress is about as popular as a case of hemorrhoids followed by a root canal. Although voters can not do anything about replacing the Commander in Chief until 2012, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid tops the list of corrupt politicians that conservatives would enjoy firing this November.
When most Americans hear, “Nevada,” they immediately think of Las Vegas. However, much of the state still encompasses the look, feel and sentiment of the Old West. Like cowboy vigilantes, a number of start-up politicians have heard the outcry of angry constituents who are disgusted by Reid’s continued dereliction of his duties.
Approximately thirteen candidates have risen from the desert, to form various posse groups determined to bring Reid his Day of Political Judgment, yet only one will be chosen in the June Primary.
Until recently the debates among the Senatorial hopefuls have seemed more like shoot outs at the “I’m OK, you’re OK Corral,” than anything remotely associated with the temperament of the Old West. Fortunately, for the sake of America’s current conservative movement, the battle of ideas atop the desert sage is becoming noteworthy.
When the Dictionary of American Political Acronyms is eventually produced, current Nevada Senate tracking poll-leader Sue Lowden’s picture should be placed next to the word RINO, a word meaning Republican in Name Only.
Last week, strong winds in excess of one hundred miles per hour ripped across the state, leaving one rural Nevadan to observe, “Well, it looks like Lowden doesn’t have a fence to sit on anymore.” Although Lowden’s casino money has kept her atop the polls, she was brought down to Earth in a recent debate by Danny Tarkanian, a true
conservative that has the political firepower to win in November.
With determination reminiscent of Scott Brown in his Massachusetts senate campaign, Tarkanian exposed Lowden, by pointing out the stunning fact that she has long been a financial supporter of Harry Reid. This is much more than an obscure local political debate. Tarkanian’s exposure of the Lowden/Reid connection highlights a common belief among those in the Tea Party movement that the two-party system has become a de-facto oligarchy.
Lowden has vanished from the spotlight since the debate, and time will tell if Tarkanian’s verbal shot will be the one heard around the world this November.

Shortlink:
Danny Tarkanian also donated to a democrat. He and his parents donated thousands to Shelley Berkley, a liberal anti-gun democrat. Danny said it was to repay a favor which means that Danny can be bought!! We need a candidate who is not a RINO, but who is a true conservative.
The only true conservative in this race is Sharron Angle.
Marylynn – Yes, once a very long time ago, Danny gave a few hundred bucks to Shelley Berkley. Not to “repay a favor” but to thank her for being the only regent to stand up for his father when he was under attack. A few hundred for a thank you. . .nothing to write about here.
There are many other donations to Berkley from the Tarkanian family due to the fact that Danny’s mom and Berkley are friends and fellow DEMS.
Sharron Angle is a very conservative woman who is also a few fries short of a happy meal. Get her outside of a fairly controlled environment and she becomes quite the loose cannon. That’s not just my personal observation either – I’ve been told by many who are travelling the state right now that this is true. And these are people who don’t have anything to gain by saying these things as they are in other races.

During the debate Little Tark came off as an angry loser that has never won anything other than a lawsuit. He also blatantly lied about the fact that his law license was revoked and he was called in front of the Nevada Supreme court to defend himself.
“What passed for substance was a debate over Tarkanian’s record as a lawyer (he was sanctioned by the Nevada Supreme Court for doing legal work while his law license was inactive”…..Las Vegas Sun

You might want to check your facts before posting so you don’t come off looking foolish. Your disrespect to Danny – calling him “Little Tark” reeks of Chuck Muth and is uncalled for. It’s not like anyone has refered to Sue as a Quitter or a Washed Up Beauty Queen.
I don’t know what you are talking about regarding the debate. I was there – front and center – and saw everything that happened. The only one who came off bad was Lowden herself. She looked bored and disinterested during the entire thing (her normal behavior) unless she was the center of attention. It appeared that Sue spent more time practicing her poses for the camera than she did for the actual debate. She proved that over and over again…does her answer on the VAT tax ring a bell?
Danny, on the other hand, showed his firm grasp of the issues and has a viable solution for each. He has never waivered on his stands either – unlike Sue. He was a professional throughout the debate.
As for the “practicing law without a license” – you are again risking looking like a fool as this NEVER happened. There was a sanction regarding a letter that was never received and that was it. Period – end of subject.
Rather than spewing the talking points of the Lowden machine, you might want to do independent research. You might be surprised.
It concerns me that Danny gave Shelley Berkley $1,000 campaign contribution for any reason. I don’t care what she did for his dad. She was and is a liberal Democrat. It also concerns me that Danny had the endorsement of the Brady Campaign during his secretary of state race. They gave him that endorsement over his liberal opponent because Danny was in favor of gun control. Danny received a “F” from the NRA during that campaign. Don’t even get me started on his legal troubles (he’s currently involved in a lawsuit for failing to make payments on a multimillion dollar land deal and he was deposed for having ties to an Armenian gambler who had players shave points during his coaching days in Fresno).
Sue is a pushover and will be killed by Reid, but Reid would much rather face Danny because of these things. We can’t allow either of them to win our primary. I’m supporting Chad Christensen because he’s a conservative with a recent record in the legislature and he’s never lost an election. This guy is a warrior. I also like that he has put forward legislation mirroring the new Arizona immigration law. http://www.chad2010.com
“Viva Las Vegas” is a paid lobbyist working on behalf of Lowden. This isn’t surprising. She is also getting a little help from her other friends: Harry and his ACORN playbook. You just have to ask yourself, “Why?” Why does Harry fear Tark, and relish the thought of going against his good friend Sue Lowden?
