The Impending Collapse of Our College Education System

The combination of the near economic collapse of our financial system in September 2008 and the worst job market since the Great Depression will soon create the perfect storm for many colleges throughout the nation. I want to be among the first to go on record in saying colleges across the nation, both public and private, are in for a rude awakening.

Capitalism and the American Dream – Integral Parts of the Constitution

That government must not be allowed to interfere with the private sector (laissez-faire) was, from the outset of our nation, a key ingredient in our founders recipe for creating a new nation, the likes of which the world had never seen.

Barack…You’re 30% Right, but 100% Wrong!

Like the fuzzy-math Team Obama uses to tell us that so many millions of jobs have been “saved or created” due to stimulus funds; like the strange logic he uses to describe how appeasement and apologies lead to a sound foreign policy and like the show of “Noble Arrogance”

CA Voters React to Obama’s Soft Treatment of New Black Panther Party

For personal reasons, I was struck by the attached YouTube video – newly released – of Sherman’s constituents reacting to his comments that he did not know anything about this highly inflammatory mistake. You can hear the crowd erupt with anger.

Disarmament of Law Abiding Citizens

The only way to keep the government in check, invaders at bay, drug czars dead, terrorism under control, dictators never in power, communism never allowed, and protect your home, family and yourself is to have the “right to keep and bear arms”

Cough! Cough! Chew! Chew! Obama’s Nicotine Addiction Spoils the Party.

I’m not completely surprised that Obama’s addiction to nicotine makes him feel that chewing nicotine gum in public is a small price to pay for stopping the withdrawal effects of nicotine. They can be overwhelming.

“Tesla-Mania” Sweeps Wall Street

Were it not so tragically representative of what’s wrong with our financial market, the demand for Tesla Motors IPO offering would be laughable. Indeed the beautiful people are all agog with what they believe is the hottest stock prospect since Starbucks found a market for three dollar coffee flavored whipped cream. What’s all the fuss [...]

Boom or Bust?

Obama was feeling his “victory” today with the new financial reform bill hammered out by the House Financial Services Committee and the Senate Banking Committee, but why does the United States banks and businesses, need more regulation? Why hasn’t there been an investigation of the SEC, the Federal Reserve, the Treasurery Secretary, and the bank auditors? Why not just enforce the rules and regulations already in place?

Disclosure Act Needs Disclosure

Anytime Chuck Schumer proposes anything, suspicious minds are justified. The Disclosure Act, a brainchild of democrats Schumer and Chris Van Hollen , is another attempt to tip the scales of influence rather than correct them. Like all legislation these days, the Disclosure Act is a bill clouded with legalese. Then again, legislation is often intended [...]

Legislators Defend Free Trips To Spain

A June 21st USA Today story – “Legislators Trek On Private Dime” – revealed that nonprofits and special interests have so far spent 73 percent more during the first quarter of 2010 for congressional travel and trip expenses than in the first quarter of 2009. According to the story, 24 trips to places like Spain [...]
