Politics and extreme ideology have entered into the energy mix here in Texas and the consequences will mean longer unemployment lines and higher costs for power. Under pressure from environmentalist groups like the Sierra Club and their partners and bolstered by the draconian regulations issued by the EPA, CPS energy will be closing the Deely Power Plant outside of San Antonio. Proponents laud this as a progressive advancement in the struggle to realize a green economy. For them this is the first step; they hope to replace the “dirty” fuel source with new contracts for solar energy, a much greener resource that will create green jobs and help contribute to the new green economy. As of today, four companies are seeking contracts with the city with the promise of delivering around 1,000 jobs and 800+ megawatts to the city.

One does not have to look far to see the deception that is green jobs through solar power. In the news as of late we have all seen the boondoggle that was Solyndra. To refresh your memory our illustrious President visited this solar cell manufacturer last year and donated $500 million (bailout / stimulus) of your tax dollars to their cause. Last week Solyndra and your money disappeared as the company filed for bankruptcy. In that case as in the case of the Deely plant closure, the common denominator is the loss of jobs rather than the creation of jobs. This seems to be a theme in the new “Green Economy.” Rather than being the birthplace of employment and prosperity, it has proven instead to be the cemetery where we bury jobs and the crematorium where we burn money. The over $500 million given to Solyndra didn’t create jobs; it lost over 1,000 jobs and the closing of the Deely power plant in San Antonio will result in the loss of over 500 jobs. Adding to the complexity of this closure is the loss of generating capacity. This will put a strain on the existing power grid already struggling to keep up with demand. Organizations like the Sierra Club and their partners will not stop with the Deely power plant; more closures are on the horizon. This plant closing is yet another example of how the EPA is wielding its regulatory authority like an impulsive child swinging a samurai sword – your only hope is to NOT be in the way. However, not being in the way has become almost impossible since the regulation being used in this case (The Cross-State Air Pollution Rule) has become the EPA’s weapon of choice against power providers.

I have written extensively on the stated goal of the liberal left and their pursuit of a green economy through green jobs. In my book I dedicated a chapter to this myth and the conclusion that I came to is that they simply never pan out. If you don’t believe me just look at Spain and the consequences they are facing right now due to this unrealistic mythical pipedream. Spain is on the verge of default and is a big part of the current European debt crisis. Look at Solyndra and what your tax dollars were able to accomplish there – nothing. The loss of 500 jobs when the Deely power plant closes is real, the promised creation of 1,000 jobs through solar power in the future doesn’t pay those laid off worker’s bills or help an already overburdened power grid. Green jobs and a new green economy are merely government tools used to redistribute wealth and that is a fact. What we need are solutions not bedtime fairytales.

If the Federal Government really wanted to solve our energy crisis they would drastically curtail the EPA regulatory process and work with energy companies to continue to develop our natural resources. They would help to retrofit and update plants through things like tax credits or deferred taxes. Or simply lower the tax burden across the board. They would get out of the way and unleash the innovative entrepreneurial spirit that has made this country the envy of the free world. Ladies and gentlemen, there are solutions and they can be found under the ground and in the minds of our people. Clean coal is a reality; rather than banning it we should be working to unlock its full potential. We have enough natural gas beneath our feet to power us well into the future and enough petroleum to do the same. Rather than stifling their use we should be working to advance their uses. We need to cut the noose that is binding our industrial and entrepreneurial complex and let them bring these resources into the 21st century rather than forcing them to operate as though it were the dark ages and then proclaiming them archaic. That is backward thinking and if you want to move forward you can’t spend your time looking backwards.

None of this is possible unless we finally put to rest the myth that is “Green.” Green isn’t going to ride in on a white horse and save the day. Green pursuits should be an augmenting tool in our energy toolbox not the only tool. Those who tell you that alternative sources like wind and solar are the answer to obtain energy independence are lying and speak from their ideology, not from reality. The sun doesn’t always shine and the wind doesn’t always blow. The use of Coal, Natural Gas and Oil are a reality, and the truth is that responsibly blending these into the energy mix is the future. Until we get real when it comes to energy and energy independence we will not solve anything and we will continue to lose jobs and weaken America. The Deely power plant closing in San Antonio is just the beginning of the Obama administration’s march to outlaw energy production as we know it, and to increase the cost of energy as we know it. All of this is being done in the name of creating a new America with a green economy. I say that I like the America my parents and their parents built and I say Texas cannot become the realization of a scheme that will destroy our America. This is the time; Texas is the place – stand with me and let’s get to work defunding the EPA. Help me dismantle the plan that would see our natural resources demonized for a flawed ideology.

Can you imagine the unrealistic demand to catch and capture air with a butterfly net? That is exactly the kind of illogical mental gymnastics being suffered by Luminant, one of Texas’s leading energy producers. The absurd and unrealistic demands of the EPA have forced Luminant to make some hard choices that will result in two realities here in Texas: the loss of jobs and the loss of generating capacity. To better understand the impact you have to understand what Luminant means to the state of Texas. As I previously mentioned, Luminant is one of the largest power generator in Texas. They employ 4,400 people across the state. Since 2008 they have created 675 new jobs, real jobs – not government jobs or temporary stimulus jobs or “green jobs,” – but real jobs. Between their Big Brown Power Plant in Freestone County and their Monticello Power Plant locations in Titus, Camp, Hopkins and Franklin Counties, they have the capacity to generate 3,000 megawatts of power; and in 2010 these operations made tax contributions of $26 million. Now these are just a handful of the company’s stats. As a result of the draconian rules set forth by the EPA, Luminant estimates that 500 jobs will be lost and 1,300 megawatts will evaporate from an already strained grid across Texas – again, as a result of new regulations put in place by the Obama administration and the EPA, specifically the “Cross-State Air Pollution Rule.” Like I said, it’s like catching and capturing air with a butterfly net – ridiculous.

Reality however is taking a toll as the company has begun preparing to meet the unrealistic demands of the Cross-State Pollution Rule. Some of the steps that will affect the company and it employees as well as Texas consumers will be the idling of two generating units, as well as cessation of lignite mining in three of its mines. Luminant was forced down this path despite efforts to work with the EPA. It is clear that the Obama Administration is using the heavy regulatory hand of the EPA to strike at the heart of energy production in this state, with the design of bringing about what they believe will be a new energy renaissance revolving around “Green Energy.” The Administration have pinned their hopes on renewable energies like wind and solar to obtain energy independence. Those who tell you that alternative sources like wind and solar are the answer to obtaining energy independence are lying, and they speak from their ideology and not from reality.

We all remember the 2008 presidential campaign when candidate Obama was caught on tape stating that under his administration energy costs would necessarily skyrocket. Well, this is one campaign promise this President seems bent on keeping. The assault on American energy and on jobs began the day this President was sworn into office. He then granted the EPA “god-like” authority to begin unwinding America’s natural energy resources and right here in Texas the first of many shots has been fired. Companies like Luminant are taking the bullets. This country cannot afford the boondoggle that is the march towards the fantasy called a “Green Economy” through “Green Jobs.” Texas stands at the vanguard of this fight for energy independence. Clearly it is time to take a stand, make it a Texas stand, and fight for our right to prosper through risk, hard work and the utilization of our God-given natural resources. Edmund Burke is credited with saying, “All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.” I want to alter that a bit and say this, “All that is necessary for the EPA to triumph is that we do nothing.” So let’s do something.

Conference on Environment and Development on the 14 June 1992. This is a “comprehensive programme” of action to be implemented by governments, development agencies, United Nations organizations and independent sector groups in every area where human (economic) activity effects the environment.” (http://www.johannesburgsummit.org/html/basic_info/agenda21.html) But do not be fooled, this has nothing to do with governments governing themselves, it has to do with the United Nations controlling resources, labor unions, money, businesses, agriculture, healthcare, population, cities, education, food intake, car you drive (if you are allowed to have one), industry, where you can live, trade, water, and the list continues. Be afraid, be very afraid.

If the United States signs onto this whole package it will mean the end of the “American way of life”, period. Because this program will trump the U.S. Constitution in the end and will put environment, Mother Earth, and climate change ahead of all human and animal needs. Agenda 21 will “spread the wealth” (socialism) to all developing nations at the cost of billions to trillions to developed countries. So the people who cannot stop breeding in developing countries we the developed nations will be paying for their broods no matter the cost and consequences to us-that even means the lazy, good for nothing, drug addict and alcoholic will be getting support from you and me; oh wait a minute, that is already happening here in the United States!! On top of this, is the fact the plan includes only consuming what you need and leave no extra-gee that sounds like communism! There is also talk of controlling the population like China does now for the reason of “unsustainable consumption” and of course the stress on the environment, Mother Earth, and climate change.

Oh it gets better! In this Agenda 21 it also wants to create “Exclusive Economic Zones” on coastal areas in order to manage the “development and conservation of natural resources” (http://www.johannesburgsummit.org/html/basicinfo/agenda21.htm) that means if your business or home conflicts with the “Exclusive Economic Zones” you will be out of luck-kiss your business and/or home goodbye because it will be removed. Plus, the Agenda 21 will give control to the United Nations over all oceans including marine life and fishing businesses, also control of freshwater resources and making sure to penalize “polluters” like you and me or a cow for just taking a crap. On top of this control of freshwater resources will come a control of how much freshwater a business or home can consume (Section II, Chapter 18 of Agenda 21).

If Agenda 21 is embraced by the United States (we already have embraced “sustainable development” in our cities and in our agriculture -http://www.usda.gov/oce/sustainable/background.htm) the standard of living will fail due to all the American tax money and a certain percentage of the GNP (gross national product) that will be given to the United Nations to implement all the rules and regulations which in turn will become international law which will result in One World Government by the United Nations. Any country with a government and/or constitution will become a “puppet government” controlled by the United Nations and the freedoms we enjoy as Americans will be no more.

I encourage everybody who reads this article to read for themselves what Agenda 21 by the United Nations will mean for this great country of ours at: http://www.johannesburgsummit.org/html/basicinfo/agenda21.htm. It will be very eye opening and disturbing, we must make sure this never gets into law in this country. We are the United States of America let us keep it that way!

Since the inauguration of the current President we have seen 100s of billions of our tax dollars thrown into the pit of hope when it comes to creating jobs and dealing with our current energy problems. Hope that LED lights, electric cars and solar panels will stimulate the economy and rescue us from our dependence on foreign sources of energy. We have all seen the photo ops, the President standing in a factory filled with worker bees producing little lights that promises to power the future. We have seen our Vice President and members of the President’s various cabinets milling around with worker bees making windows, specialized caulks and a sundry of other environmentally friendly products that in the end promise only one thing, to keep us cooler in the winter and warmer in the summer (think about it for a minute, it’ll come to you). All of these things have one thing in common… they are part of a “HOPE” strategy that believes government can solve problems better than industry. A curious notion since this country and the world’s greatest economy was built on the backs of hard working innovative Americans who if left in an unfettered environment create.

As you sit and read this the Obama administration is struggling to come up with a plan that would solve America’s energy crisis and put people back to work. This country has 9.1% of its people unemployed, that is the official number, the real number is closer to 16% and that doesn’t include the number of people who are under-employed or have just given up all together. So what is the answer? The administration seems to believe that if we would just all get on board of the “HOPE” express and embrace “Green Energy” and “Green Jobs” we can float out of this nightmare. Rather than continuing to reach into that pit of hope the President has pushed us all towards, let me spin you a tale of reality.

Right here in Texas, Dimmit County to be exact, we are experiencing a bit of a renaissance when it comes solving the two biggest problems we have in this country; jobs and developing an American solution to our energy needs. According to the Executive Director of the Dimmit Country Chamber of Commerce Paula Sydel, “We’re growing so fast that we haven’t had the time to go visit and meet all the new businesses opening in town.” So why is the Chamber of Commerce so pleased? Because in the real world of solving problems Dimmit County is home to the Eagle Ford Shale oil and gas play. A boom has hit Dimmit Country and surrounding locations, rich in energy resources buried right here underneath our feet 50 oil and gas companies have opened offices and operational locations to service this shale play. With those companies and the jobs they bring come increases in other businesses and demand for other jobs. Restaurants, grocers, hotels (occupancy rates have skyrocketed) and housing needs have increased. Over the last year more than 20 RV and Mobil home parks have opened to accommodate the influx. These are real jobs and real development that tackle two of America’s greatest concerns, employing those who want to work and pursuing real solutions to our energy needs while creating a real strategy for America’s energy independence.

The evidence sits right here, while the population of Dimmit Country and the surrounding locals have grown the employment opportunities have also grown. In a country where increasingly more and more people are looking for work and want to contribute we have an industry that is mercilessly attacked by an administration with a different agenda, a “Green Agenda.” Texas does not standalone when it comes to having answers to our unemployment crisis and energy problems. We aren’t alone when it comes to the frustrations of battling an administration bent on throwing up roadblocks rather than lending a hand. The Gulf Coast states, the Eastern Seaboard, Alaska and states like Pennsylvania, Ohio, the Dakotas and many more hold the keys to America’s energy independence as well as the jobs they would create. Coal, natural gas and oil and the promise of innovative and clean ways to extract those resources and utilize them can and should provide solutions to putting America back on the path of prosperity. This is why I am so passionate about the responsible utilization of the energy resources we have sitting right here in the great State of Texas.

Across Texas counties like Dimmit, LaSalle, Zavala are all realizing a meaningful expansion of economic development and growth due to the current oil and gas boom. This country is hurting and there is nobody in either party who will disagree with the fact that the number one issue is jobs. Texas is proving that it has a solution and it comes in the form of jobs created in the energy sector. These are jobs that deal with exploration, extraction and infrastructure. These are new pipelines construction, trucking and rail jobs. It creates opportunities that span the earning scale from workers to executives and everything in between both within the industry as well as within the community.

Hope isn’t a strategy. Hope never shook your hand and gave you a job, hope never paid your bills or tucked your kids into bed at night. Innovation, hard work and utilizing our resources in a responsible way is what will return us to the road of prosperity and that is how we will create a truly energy independent country. We can no longer dabble with the mysticism that is the Obama vision of a “Green Economy.” That vision has overfunded hope with your tax dollars while at the same time stifled growth and real jobs.

If there is one thing that is certain it is that we have come to not only expect but we require the existence of a “Boogey-Man.” On April 20, 2011 President Obama speaking to community college students and others in Virginia delivered on expectations and informed us that the villain behind our current energy woes was the boogey-man known as the dreaded “SPECULATOR.” He (they collectively) were responsible for driving gasoline prices higher.

So what is a speculator you ask? A speculator is one that takes large and unusual business risk to gain financially from anticipating future price movements.

As a professor of government and understanding public policy and the economy as I do, I know that federal reserve policy, foreign affairs and speculation do play a part but can we definitively link the current spike in the price of a gallon of gas only to speculators or is this yet another example of baiting and switching the American public.

Speculators operate their business based on anticipating what will influence the price, they have no real control over world events. Speculators didn’t fire up their weather machines to create storms nor are they responsible for the tensions in the Middle East and most importantly speculators don’t possess the bully pulpit.

President Obama has only himself to blame for creating an atmosphere of anti energy (oil, gas and coal specifically), which in turn leads speculators to see future risks.

We all remember the famous declaration by candidate Obama when he declared that he was going to “Fundamentally change America” and the statements made during the campaign that in order for his green agenda to be realized “the price of energy would necessarily have to skyrocket.”

Some of his rhetoric could be attributed to bloviated campaign exuberance but as we have witnessed this is less about rhetoric and more about action. Secretary of Energy Steven Chu was quoted as saying “Somehow we have to figure out how to boost the price of gasoline to the levels in Europe.” This statement was made in September of 2008 and if you were an oil speculator what would you be thinking?

In order to make a real case when it comes to responsibility we need more than just words, we need examples of action as well. According to the Institute for Energy Research some, but not all, of the clearest examples of action to stop energy production are as follows: The administration withdrew 77 oil and gas leases in Utah, this could represent a loss to American taxpayers of millions in lost production royalties and more importantly new jobs.

The administration delayed oil shale research that would help advance American technology and create high-tech jobs. The administration supported cap-and-trade legislation that could cost American families more than $3,100 a year in higher energy cost.

The administration ordered the cancellation of the Navajo Nation power plant that prevented the Navajo nation from creating new jobs and reducing its 42% percent unemployment rate. The administration revoked an already issued permit to a West Virginia coalmine operation that cost 250 American jobs. These are just a few of the examples.

Speaking of American jobs; President Obama visited Brazil and issued a promise to be a great trading partner and vowed to assist their county in creating jobs all the while killing an estimated 13,000 jobs in the gulf region and 19,000 nationally by imposing a moratorium on drilling in US water.

Yes lets be clear the moratorium on shallow and deep water drilling was lifted by a federal court, yet the administration’s slow permitting has effectively continued the moratorium on offshore deep water drilling, placing the entire Pacific, Atlantic, Gulf and parts of Alaska essentially off limits to energy production. All the while a CNN polls shows the US public supports offshore drilling by 69% and the support for global warming is in free fall.

So now we can revisit the “Speculators” and their role in the spike of oil, the path America finds herself on in relation to its energy future. Is it the guys whose job it is to guess where the price of oil will be in the future or is it the guy who set our country’s energy policy or dare I say anti oil, gas and coal policy?

The guy who can suspend oil exploration with the flick of a pen? The guy who sends his minions out to tell Americans we need to see prices at the pump that resemble those in Europe? The guy who has stated that in order for his green agenda to be realized energy prices would have to skyrocket? I guess in the end I don’t have to ask, it’s abundantly clear.

In the end this issue isn’t all that different from any other facing this nation, there are two competing sides and in politics as it is in life there always has to be a winner and a loser, a right side and a wrong side and the challenge is as it has always been, informing yourself and choosing correctly.

The Congressional Research Service as stated that the USA has by far more energy resources in reserve than any other country in the world. In fact we are the only country in the world that seriously restricts access to such resources.

It is my humble opinion that the real goal should be to balance and blend the responsible utilization of this nation’s energy resources while maintaining a strong vibrant economy. This means doing things that create jobs and opportunities for Americans first.

The fact is any comprehensive energy plan must utilize all of the tools in Americas energy toolbox, wind, solar, nuclear, domestic oil, natural gas, and yes, even clean COAL.

‘Everyone’s God and if we don’t wake up to that there’s going to be no weather because our polar caps are melting because we’re doing bad things to the atmosphere…” — Charles Manson, 2011

Every now and then, even a blind squirrel finds a nut. Buried in an article published in the UK’s Daily Mail online edition is an article originally titled: “Killer Breaks 20 year Silence on 40th anniversary of gruesome Sharon Tate murders”. Immediately the words “HELTER SKELTER” jump to mind with the image of a swastika carved into the forehead of Charles Manson. But, in the opening paragraphs there is something missed by almost everyone…in the midst of ole Charlie’s ramblings is the evidence. Evidence so solid that it will save and eventually usher in a renewal of free market principles around the world.

For decades now the likes of Albert ”Alfonse Corleone” Gore, William “Cigar-Boy” Clinton, Julia “Carbon-Tax” Gillard, and Barack “Barry” Obama have told us their prophecies, based on “science”, relative to the harm we humans were causing our fragile planet. Their “science” has recently been discovered to be….hmmmm…wanting facts. Despite this “temporary” set-back, the Climate Change Coup Pack (CCCP) charges ahead with administrative efforts (not legislative, because the peasants are growing wise) at curbing that which most life on earth either exhales or uses as fuel to produce that which most life inhales.

Many skeptics of anthropogenic climate change spend a great deal of time, resources, and effort at discovering, analyzing, compiling, and presenting PROOF that the CCCP are simply wrong and that the efforts of the CCCP are designed to strangle the last bits of life out free-market capitalism and go full-bore toward an absolute central-planning system (global, mind you).

The CCCP supporters always point to “the science” and tell us that “the science” is not wrong…just misrepresented, misinterpreted, mislabeled, misspelled, misplaced, mismatched, misunderstood, misaligned, missing, or just missed it. It always seems as if the CCCP “science” isn’t quite as exact as REAL science is supposed to be. It is here, where CCCP “science” meets REAL science, that the truth of this supposed anthropogenic climate change is found. A truth that is irrefutable!

Enter Charles Manson…a certifiable lunatic (by ANY definition employing virtually ANY standard) who has been scientifically tested probably more than any single human on this thriving planet. Each and every scientific test performed on Charlie return the same result: He has absolutely NO connection to reality. Every rambling moment, every twisted thought, every conclusion, and every decision this dude makes originates from LALA-Land. Ladies and Gentlemen, policy-makers, policy-advisors, legislators, global delegates, citizens of this big blue ball…if Charles Manson says it is so…that is PROOF that it can’t be so!

In this obscure interview of Charles Manson hides the key to FREEDOM…Freedom from government interventions and usurpations of power. Freedom to once again let people produce in ways the market dictates, not government. Ole crazy Charlie has finally (though unknowingly) done a good deed. By siding with the CCCP he has provided the evidence and revealed the truth — only lunatics with a bastardized view of reality can hold the ”science” of the CCCP as plausible. I knew those eyes pierced more than the souls of his cult followers…look into the eyes of the CCCP and you see shades of Charlie — the need to CONTROL!

Bedbugs, bedbugs, bedbugs! Where are they coming from? Well, they are coming from a major increase in international travel, ban on DDT, and not using hot water to wash sheets and clothes.

Bedbugs, bedbugs, bedbugs! Where are they coming from? Well, they are coming from a major increase in international travel, ban on DDT, and not using hot water to wash sheets and clothes. This is happening in hotels, hospitals, refugee camps, dorms, and apartments-any place with a high turn over of night time guests- across the world in many developed countries including here in the United States.

This is not a new problem by any means; man has been bothered by these varmints for thousands of years. After WWII, bedbugs were eradicated in developed countries by the use of DDT, but now it is banned in many countries due to its toxicity to the environment-but sadly with the banning of DDT, the increase in malaria has driven some countries to start using it again to help control mosquito populations, until an alternative is created.

It does not matter how clean you or your house are-you could have picked up bedbugs while staying at a hotel by just having clothes and your luggage lying on the floor. They are as fast as a ladybug so they can travel quickly between different floors of a hospital, hotel, and an apartment building. Bedbugs can hide behind peeling paint, loose wallpaper, headboards, box springs, mattresses, under light switch plates, electrical outlets, and under carpeting near baseboards.

Along with international travel contributing to this problem, so has the “green movement”. It is great to care about our planet, but sadly it has cost many their lives-case in point: the banning of DDT sentenced many children to their death because DDT could not be used to kill mosquitoes which cause malaria. Some countries are now using DDT again and have seen a significant decline in deaths from malaria.

Now the “green movement” has been telling everybody to stop washing their clothes, sheets, and blankets in hot water because it costs too much, but now there is an increase not just in bedbugs but in also people suffering from allergies. The “green movement” has constantly been telling hotels to stop washing their sheets and blankets everyday in order to cut down on the consumption of water-great idea right? Not! This is contributing to the increase of bedbugs all over the world as we are seeing now.

So what is the best solution to this problem? Time to bring out the “big guns”! First, it is time to start using DDT in the areas that are infested really bad and control the application in the best possible matter. Second, start encouraging people to use hot water again to wash their clothes, sheets, and blankets, plus encourage hotels to wash bedding daily.

Third, encourage research on a chemical that is more environmentally friendly than DDT to control bedbugs and malaria. Something has to be done to get these darn bugs under control and that means ticking off the “green movement” and doing what is necessary. If the “green movement” is so concerned about DDT why has it not developed a product to get rid of these pests, including mosquitoes?

Kiss your privacy "goodbye" it is time for the "Green Police or the "Eco Police" to start inspecting your garbage and recyclables to make sure you are doing it right. Cannot forget the use of RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) on your garbage/recyclables, plus your garbage bags-Oh yes, they are now letting some flunkie "bug" your garbage/recyclables!

You may think this is crazy, but the Green Police (use to be known as the Gestapo)are coming to a town near you! I am serious! Many think the following ad: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zVhT7P0lDfI put out by Audi during the 2010 Superbowl is funny and cannot happen here in the United States-think again; it is happening now! Seriously, your garbage and recyclables are being monitored (in some cities in the USA) via RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) either put on your garbage containers/recycling bins or on your garbage bags. Plus, there are people who are called “Green Police” or the “Eco Police” that can then give you a fine of $25-$100 for not recycling or not recycling correctly. In other countries in Europe you can go to court if you do not recycle correctly or not enough-these RFID can even weigh how much garbage is being picked up at each address and then it is used to see if each address is doing enough to recycle.

I know as well as the next person that we need to recycle, but come on! This is ridiculous! Not including the fact that it is an invasion of privacy! You have people in these different cities and countries hiring somebody to snoop through your garbage/recyclables and plus they can see what you eat, how much you eat, where you eat, bills you may have paid, newspapers/magazines you read, what alcohol you drink, what prescriptions you take, if you drink soda/pop, kool-aid, water (bottled),what kind of junk food you eat, what kind of nose blowers you use, what kind of feminine products are used in the home-excuse me, whose business is it to be snooping through your garbage/recyclables? How is the information gathered from the bins or bags going to be used? Will you be referred to a doctor because you eat too much salt or drink too much soda/pop? Will you be arrested for reading the “wrong” newspaper? Will you be arrested for drinking “too much” alcohol? Will you be arrested for taking “too much” pain medication? Are companies going to use this information to help target communities for the advertising of their products? Well? Cities could really make a lot of money selling the information off those RFID chips and what the Green Police/Eco Police find out when they are snooping through your garbage/recyclables-we all know many cities in the USA are hurting for money!

Seriously, this is scary and makes me feel mighty uncomfortable-I like my privacy. Not because I am doing anything wrong, it is because I have the God given right to privacy! How would you feel about a “smart toilet”? Not kidding. This “smart toilet” when “you sit down the seat sends a mild electric charge through your bottom that calculates your body/fat ratio and then transmits the information to your doctors.” (http://catholicexchange.com/2010/08/28/133765). In England, there is an advanced model of the modern ceramic toilet call the VIP (Versatile Interactive Pan)-“that examines your urine and stools for medical problems and dietary content; if you are not getting enough roughage, it automatically sends a signal to the nearest supermarket requesting a delivery of beans. All you have to do is sit there as your VIP toilet orders a la carte and prescribes your medication.” (http://catholicexchange.com). So it is not just your garbage/recyclables that will be telling on you, now it can be your toilet too!

Instead of spying on people, which is really what the RFID was originally designed to do, why aren’t there some kind of incentives for recycling? Like the $.05 or $.10 return on bottles and cans-great way to help raise money for the boy or girl scouts, schools, the homeless, and recycle. How about plastic bag returns in more businesses and with each return of plastic bags receive a free re-usable bag-make sure there is a standard amount that must be returned to receive a free re-usable bag. Plastic bags can be reused if needed as garbage bags. How about for plastic containers you also have a $.05 or $.10 return for each one. Car parts can be recycled which is done everyday in junk yards or by many entrepreneurs who sell all kinds of car parts on the internet and by newspaper. Encourage community composting by having free drop off of leaves, limbs, grass clippings, egg shells, coffee grounds, veggie waste and more-which is done in many communities, but more are charging to take these things now. If done in this way, more people would respond more positively; when you shove it down their throat, it is only human to react by telling the people that enforce to “stick it”.

So it is time to wake up America! The “Green Police” or the “Eco Police’” (with their RFID) are coming to your town and you need to ask yourself if you are ready to give up your God given right to privacy!

Tar Balls, have been spotted of the western shores of Florida, sound the alarm: it must be Bushes fault, dammit! Oh, and if the Democratic Party can’t stick it to Bush you can sure bet that they will try to stick it to Dick Chaney.

Here we go again America, another spell of directed hog-wash penned by this nations greatest media socialists, a propaganda of the greatest and most excellent sort only to be rivaled by Joseph Goebbels himself. Tar Balls modeled from the notorious Hanging Chad of Florida are fast becoming the Democratic Parties rallying call.

Testing is currently underway to determine the origin of any tar balls spotted. The Democratic Party wants conclusive evidence that this disaster is anyone’s fault but theirs. President Obama , Nancy Pelosi and the Socialist mob who have, under the nose of good Americans, slithered into power have now openly, after a year and a half of rule, decided to blame the Bush Administration for the Gulf environmental disaster.

President Obama has said with conviction that his Administration is on top of this nations worst environmental catastrophe in its history.

Sadly, our President while the plum of poisonous oil gushes into the gulf of Mexico reeking havoc upon life and economy has, as it seems, been playing more golf and hosting more leisure events than actually doing anything to solve this mess.

The question of whether or not the Administration wants the mess solved is, in truth, the greater story. Environmentalist, are even beginning to question the lengthy delay and seemingly nonchalant way the President has handled this nightmare. At present, there are no real solutions on the horizon.

No solution, means more Tar Balls heading in the direction of Florida and up the Eastern sea board. All excellent and steady sources of PR for the next 5 months, at least, or rather till November. Yes, I expect that this environmental mess will become politicized by both parties, but with the Democratic Party controlling most of the media many Americans will end up on the short end of the truth.

So, get ready for more tar balls America, it wouldn’t surprise me to see them ending up in our water supply or on your car from oil droppings from birds.

The White House and its media pals have already began demonizing those in the GOP for supporting the “Drill Now” campaign. It has began, the great socialist push to remove more of America’s independence: it might make one question how this disaster occurred anyway.

The reasoning for such attacks are no different than those of Florida’s hanging chad: election results and Socialist agenda items. Don’t be fooled the environmental mess is fast becoming just another means to diminish American power.

This is obvious now by how many left wing environmentalist are questioning Obama’s performance. After all, ultimate Socialism trumps the educated elite, in the long run.

The only thing really happening in Washington is that drilling efforts, in order to safeguard American sovereignty, are being attacked.

Elections and American sovereignty are the business of the Obama Administration. Socialism is the destination of this Administrations efforts: no matter how they get there.

As Americans we can no longer afford to keep silent, our oaths to those honorable men and women who came before us demand our voice.

Regardless, of position or status each man and woman should stand and fight against such an effort to diminish American sovereignty. “Drill Now” is not just a business idea, it is a last effort at maintaining American strength in the world: it is our power and right as Americans.

Those who are against such an effort can and should be considered anti American. Americans are bold and strong we don’t give in to socialist endeavors on our land: do

we?

So, the next time you read a report or story about tar balls heading to your neighborhood understand why they are coming and not necessarily from where.

April is a time of irony. Although it is officially known as the first full month of Spring, it is not uncommon for a few severe storms to strike out of the blue. It can be a confusing time for those unaccustomed to Mother Nature’s ways. Politically it is an equally confusing time for both the astute observer of the game as well as the unwitting participant.

Earth Day is here, and the dark irony is that its most radical participants have little or no idea that they are celebrating a fictional holiday created in part by a founding Hippie that murdered his live in girlfriend. Of course this lack of knowledge on their part is somewhat understandable since many Earth Day celebrants begin their festivities two days earlier on April, 20th, or, “Four Twenty,” as it is known in the pot-head community. Everything is a little hazy for these people. In fact, most of them have no idea that April 20th also happens to be the birthday of Adolph Hitler. That name may not ring any bells for these celebrants either. Earth Dayers live in the Now, for them, the past is irrelevant.

At any rate, murdered is the sanitary way to describe what Ira Einhorn did to Holly Maddux. He brutally smashed her skull in several places with a blunt object, then twisted her body into a trunk that could only fit a person half her size. Einhorn then put the trunk into his apartment’s bedroom closet. Months went by until the stench of her rotting corpse became unbearable to his downstairs neighbors. After several complaints, the police eventually uncovered the grisly scene.

Forensics experts estimated that by the position of her upraised arm, Holly was probably stuffed into the trunk while still living. Half conscious, she struggled for air. Einhorn, the iconic hippie, casually went about his business of helping to make the world a cleaner, safer, and more breathable place. When confronted with the evidence, he told the police that he hadn’t seen Holly since she went down to the local co-op for tofu and sprouts.

However, now is not the time to dwell upon the past. The important thing to remember is that it is Earth Day, time to celebrate Nature’s gift of Mother Ship Earth. Al Gore, creator of the Internet, creator of an Inconvenient Truth, will now lead us in a holy sermon. Let us Pray.
