Who is Hamas, and what are their goals? The world hears about how they just want to create a homeland for the Palestinian, yet conflicting information that they are doing more to harm to the Palestinian than Israel, is significant.
One thing is true, most of the time good information is hard to come by and what is provided is often convoluted with contradiction and half truths.
Therefore, in order to truly understand the situation, it is important to not only write the truths, but expose them in action.
Let there be no doubt, that with the additional deployment of U.S. Patriot batteries around the gulf states the Iranian nuclear program is about to face the west’s wrath.
The decision to place additional defensive assets can only come for three reasons one they were requested by the gulf states themselves because of the potential threat from Iran; secondly because Iran is just about to be militarily hit by Israel or jointly with the U.S. and finally significant and painful sanctions.
Generally all nations have their military forces, as needed for their common defense: including all Muslim nations.
This is well known by the west; however, few have ever attempted to take into account the number of radical Muslims, as a military force, directly associated with a world Islamic movement or government.
This is likely because Islam has historically been seen as a religion and not a governmental system.
George Mitchell, President Obama’s special envoy to the Middle East, is again pushing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for Palestinian concessions on the West Bank.
Life is too short not to be seeking the truth. Therefore, it is important that when a war or conflict arises in our small world that each individual keep well informed about the facts. At this very moment the Israeli army is besieging a ragtag group of Palestinian fighters known as Hamas. For all intents, this is a David vs. Goliath fight with Israel seemly looking like an unrepentant and aggressive barbarian with little regard of innocent life. However, as responsible citizens of this rock that we call earth we can’t just watch the local news covering this tragedy and call it a day, we must understand a background that is seldom explained.
The United States of America, a melting pot of cultures and religions, all welcome under one flag as one people. Obviously, there have been a few bumps in the road, with those pesky Irish maybe the Italians and still possibly the African Americans. So, as a nation, were not that perfect, but at least we are all American and we generally respect our neighbor’s individualities and their rights to worship, as they feel fit. This willingness to accept is ours, we as Americans made it; we are the designers of acceptance and were proud of it. Unfortunately, is has one defect: its defenders and established laws have lost the natural sense of pending threat.
