Ya know this clock idea was symbolic and people turned it into something else. Kinda like the Liberals did with Obama, first he's just the first black president, now he's Messiah. The Conservatives did it too, first with Palin, then Scott Brown, now with Paul Ryan. Let's not forget Glenn Beck who thinks he's all knowing. I personally take my directions from the Bible. The bible says, No man knows the hour or the day of HIS (Jesus Christ's Return) not even the son, but the Father only. Can we deal with that ppl. Well put. It's very important that we look behind the surface. "The whole point of seeing through something is to see something through it. It is good that the window should be transparent, because the street or garden beyond it is opaque. How if you saw through the garden too? It is no use trying to `see through' first principles. If you see through everything, then everything is transparent. But a wholly transparent world is an invisible world. To `see through' all things is the same as not to see." - C.S. Lewis I think that when they do things like the Doomsday clock, though it is a lesser example, they want 1 of 2 things. For us to not see through the facade, or for us to, as Lewis put it, see through what we're seeing through to. We should all search out the true agenda and have skills like critical thinking. However, it's not as easy as it sounds, for the whole way we are dodging their curveballs and just trying to see what's on the other side. Meanwhile, they're trying to make it disappear.
