With each passing day it seems forces beyond our control are catapulting the world to social, political, and economic collapse. Governments teeter on the edge of bankruptcy. America and the individual states within it are fresh out of money amid demands from citizens that entitlement programs continue unchanged.
Now that the DREAM Act was killed in the Senate before the recess for Christmas and the New Year; progressives/liberals are now trying a different tactic: they are twisting the U.S. Constitution to fit their agenda of rewarding illegal alien’s citizenship. These are the same people that have no use for the U.S. Constitution to begin with, but they are desperate and will do anything to get their way in order to have more votes in the upcoming 2012 election.
It appears that until election night this fall we will have regular editorial concerns from the major networks about the potential of Tea Party violence because the folks are actively speaking out in protest, even though civil disorder has not happened during the numerous rallies. It would be refreshingly different to hear a Katie Couric express concern about rhetoric from both sides.
As Obama and his cohorts constantly put down Americans to the world, we as Americans should be reminded of the good America has done for our own and the world!
Although the Moon Landing became an immediate source of American pride, the detractors, the silent, and not so silent enemies living within our borders saw it as just another example of capitalist extravagance. Michelle Obama, for example, was never proud of her country until her husband Barack began climbing upward in the 2008 Presidential tracking polls.
Where did America get the idea that all Americans are entitled to “FREE”: money, cars, appliances, homes, healthcare, food, and anything else? Did this just happen when we were not looking? Did it happen a step at a time in the last 100 years? What is an entitlement?
This morning I looked up my local board of education members on the Internet, found a picture of their smiling faces, and e-mailed them all. I stated that I would like to read a copy of the book currently being used in my city high school’s history class. Out of nine members I e-mailed, two of the e-mail links were broken, two were not typed correctly and one was referenced to another school board member. Somehow I don’t think my local school board is receiving many comments from the public!
Not that we, as Americans, can forget Harvard professor Henry Louis Gates and his antics, last July 2009, to accuse Cambridge police officer Sergeant James Crowley of a racially motivated arrest.
Nor, can we forget that we would have never had to endure such a wast of our time, if it were not for the President of the United States to impress upon us the dire nature of the incident by the hands of the Cambridge police who “acted stupidly” towards his good friend.
Christmas Under Siege
I don’t know about you, but I am to the point where I actually dread Christmas-seriously. It is not the crowds at the local mall or Wal-Mart, it is not the people stopping in the middle of an isle refusing to move as they stare at you and your cart, and it is not because people like to run over my “big” 5’ 1”; 100 pound body. The real reason I dread Christmas is because of the heightening attacks by Grinch’s and anti-Christians on the celebration of the birth of Christ.
